Lychee Doughnuts2 cups frying oil12 lychees, peeled (fresh or canned) 1/2 cup lychee syrup Doughnut Batter: 1 cup all purpose flour 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1 pinch salt A little more than 3/4 cups water 1 egg Combine all dry ingredients for the doughnut batter, add the egg and water. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Fry until golden brown. Serve with lychee syrup. |
