Lychee-Soy Glazed Green Beans

1 tbsp olive oil
1 large Vidalia Onion
2 tsp sugar
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
1/4 cup lychee jam
1 tbsp light soy sauce

1. Place oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. When oil is hot, cook onions and sugar, stirring often, 25 to 30 mins or until onions are deep golden brown. Remove from heat; set aside.

2. Cook green beans in boiling water 4 to 5 minutes or until tender-crisp, drain.

3. Add cooked green beans to skillet with onions. Stir in lychee jam and soy sauce; cook over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes or until the lychee jam melts and mixture is thoroughly heated.
