Growth flush 2 weeks subsequent to Wilma
The gale force winds had the effect of completely pruing the trees. This photo shows the typical emerging flsuh of growth that you would expect following a major pruning. This growth will have to emerge, harden off and remain dormant until the next flush can occur. When this does happen we may already be into warm weather again which means there may be no bloom on this tree during this years fruiting season.
