Closeup of a Pollinating Bee

Bee is pollinating a cluster of lychee bloom

Unlike citrus blossoms lychee bloom is not very nectar rich so the bees have to work especially hard to make an equivalent amount of honey. The lychee honey is bolder and sharper in flavor and color than orange blossom honey. It is almost a bit tangy. Personally, we like it better than other types of fruit honeys that we have tried. If you like honey you’ll love lychee honey.
